Ayurveda - The Science of Life Ayurveda is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India. Recognizing that human beings are part of nature, Ayurveda describes three fundamental energies that govern our inner and outer environments: movement, transformation, and structure. Known in Sanskrit as Vata (Wind), Pitta (Fire), and Kapha (Earth), these primary forces are responsible for the characteristics of our mind and body. Each of us has a unique proportion of these three forces that shapes our nature. If Vata is dominant in our system, we tend to be thin, light, enthusiastic, energetic, and changeable. If Pitta predominates in our nature, we tend to be intense, intelligent, and goal-oriented and we have a strong appetite for life. When Kapha prevails, we tend to be easy-going, methodical, and nurturing. Although each of us has all three forces, most people have one or two elements that predominate.
Reiki Reiki is used to promote overall health and well-being. Reiki is also used by people who are seeking relief from disease-related symptoms and the side effects of conventional medical treatments. The word "Reiki" is derived from two Japanese words: rei, or universal, and ki, or life energy. Current Reiki practice can be traced to the spiritual teachings of Mikao Usui in Japan during the early 20th century. Reiki is based on the idea that there is a universal (or source) energy that supports the body's innate healing abilities. We access this energy, allowing it to flow to the body and facilitate healing. Although generally practiced as a form of self-care, Reiki can be received from someone else and may be offered in a variety of health care settings, including medical offices, hospitals, and clinics. People use Reiki for relaxation, stress reduction, and symptom relief, in efforts to improve overall health and well-being. Reiki has been used by people with anxiety, chronic pain, HIV/AIDS, and other health conditions, as well as by people recovering from surgery or experiencing side effects from cancer treatments. Reiki has also been given to people who are dying (and to their families and caregivers) to help impart a sense of peace. Clients may experience a deep state of relaxation during a Reiki session. They might also feel warm, tingly, sleepy, or refreshed. Chakra healing Chakras are our energy centres. They are the openings for life energy to flow into and out of our aura. Their function is to vitalize the physical body and to develop our self-consciousness. They are associated with our physical, mental and emotional interactions. There are seven major chakras. Sometimes chakra’s work poorly or chakras are making overtime. When one or two chakras are performing at a reduced level, the remaining chakra does have to pick up the slack. Cleaning your chakra is a good way to get a better understanding of how your body functions on an energetic level. Massage There are many health benefits of massage therapy on a regular basis: relieves stress, encourages relaxation, improves circulation, improves posture, lowers blood pressure, helps manage pain, relaxes muscles, improves flexibility, improves breathing, relieves tension headaches, strengthens immune system and last but not least decreases depression.
Skin treatment Ayurveda traditionally provides diverse forms of Ayurvedic skin care, such as psoriasis and acne treatments. Beside Ayurveda care we offer you treatments with Dead Sea mud and Dead Sea salt. Studies show that the minerals found in the Dead Sea provide your body and skin with extensive benefits. Yoga Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga introduced by Yogi Swatmarama, a yogic sage in the 15th century in India. The word "hatha" comes from the Sanskrit terms "ha" meaning "sun" and "tha" meaning "moon". Thus, Hatha Yoga is known as the branch of Yoga that unites pairs of opposites referring to the positive (sun) and negative (moon) currents in the system. Hatha yoga tries to achieve balance between body and mind, as well as attempts to free the more subtle spiritual elements of the mind through physical poses or Asana’s.
Pranayama Breathing is life. It is one of our most vital functions. One of the Five Principles of Yoga is Pranayama or Breathing Exercise which promotes proper breathing. In a Yogic point of view, proper breathing is to bring more oxygen to the blood and to the brain, and to control Prana or the vital life energy. Pranayama Yoga also goes hand in hand with the Asanas. The union of these two Yogic Principles is considered as the highest form of purification and self-discipline, covering both mind and body.
Meditation Meditation is one of the Five Principles of Yoga. It is the practice by which there is constant observation of the mind. It requires you to focus your mind at one point and make your mind still in order to perceive the 'self'. Through the practice of Meditation, you will achieve a greater sense of purpose and strength of will. It also helps you achieve a clearer mind, improve your concentration, and discover the wisdom and tranquillity within you (Hamara Shanti).
